When the bride is an interior designer, you know her bridal shower is going to be gorgeous, detail-oriented, and stylish. Lin Pernille Photography worked with a team of vendors to create this gorgeous classic-boho bridal shower and it’s one that is sure to be remembered. “Each place setting included a custom made cutting board by Wine Devices and a menu topped with a sprig of rosemary. In lieu of name cards, guests’ names were written onto the kraft paper runner. In addition to floral centerpieces by Flowers by Sutton, the tables were also topped with fresh artisan bread & herbs for the guests to garnish their plates with” recalls Lin.
Every detail including keeping their guests entertained and comfortable was carefully planned. Guests filled out advise cards for the future Mrs. And Mrs and left their best wishes next to a Fuji Instax selfie in the guest book. If they were hot, they were welcome to a parasol or paper fan, or a blanket if they felt chilly.
“The hostess & MOB Anna gave a sweet toast,” said Lin. “Then the event planner Grace J Bourne kicked off the first bridal shower game. After “He Said, She Said” and “What’s In Your Purse”, the lunch buffet opened and guests enjoyed Mediterranean grilled shrimp, salmon nicoise, and orzo salad.”
After the bridesmaids gave a funny and heartfelt speech, the dessert table opened and the present-opening began. As Nicole was opening the last of her gifts, her husband-to-be, Lee made a guest appearance. Lin remembers it being “the perfect great grand finale to a fun-filled day!”
